I am originally from a small town just outside Kansas City, Missouri. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri and started pursuing my Master's in Organizational Leadership in 2020. I am also an Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. I moved to Ohio in 1999 to pursue my wife Meg. In March we celebrate 22 years of marriage. We have lived in Sandusky, Ohio since 2005.

We have three incredible children. Kyrsten is 19 and a sophomore at Evangel University, majoring in Early Childhood Development with a Minor in Children's Ministry. She also runs on the Evangel Cross Country and Track teams. Kinsey is 15 and is a Sophomore at Perkins High School. She is the competition dance team at a local studio and also plans on attending Evangel University to become a youth pastor. Joel is 13 and in 7th grade at Perkins Middle School. He run cross country and track, and is also on the swim team.
